Your responsibilities as an auditor
You will audit and check the companies' compliance with the EU Organic Regulation. In this context, the following duties are performed:
- Planning and completion of audits as lead auditor (f/m/d) in compliance with the accreditation requirements and the procedural guideline
- Review of documents and procedures at the company
- Documentation of compliance and deviations as well as processes
- Evaluation of the evidence obtained during and after the audits in the form of a report
- Transfer of the report and all records and evidence to the certification body in due time and form.
- Maintaining client relationships through high quality audits and your professional demeanour
- Communicating the guidelines and requirements of the programmes to the client as needed
Your profile
To perform this work, the following qualifications are required:
- preferably approval by the BLE for control area B (processing) and/or control area C (import) or RSPO or RA and
- a degree in ecotrophology/nutritional sciences, food technology or an equivalent degree with at least one year of professional experience/internships or
- completion of a master craftsman's examination in the food trade with at least one year of professional experience in the processing of organic food or
- experience gained in government food inspection or
- completion of an apprenticeship in the food trade with at least five years of professional experience in the processing of organic products.
- flexibility and the willigness to travel
- German, C1 level
If you also
- have reliable judgement and decision-making skills,
- are able and willing to work independently,
- have a strong customer and service orientation,
- have organisational and communication skills as well as an open and confident manner,
- have a good knowledge of written and spoken English and
- optionally: an ISO 9001 lead auditor certificate
