Carbon Footprinting

Our carbon footprint studies provide information to build an effective strategy to manage greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and is a prerequisite for participation in GHG trading markets.

A carbon footprint is defined as 'the total set of GHG emissions caused by an organisation, event or product'. For simplicity of reporting, it is often expressed in terms of the amount of carbon dioxide, or its equivalent of other GHGs emitted.

As well as providing information to create a strategy for dealing with GHG, having carbon footprint studies demonstrate compliance with government regulations.

Types of carbon footprinting:

  • Corporate Carbon Footprint
  • Product Carbon Footprint
  • Project Carbon Footprint, for an activity or event
We can help you in all of these areas.
