Auditor (m/f/d) for sustainable textile schemes

We are looking for auditors in the field of sustainable textile certifications such as GOTS, OCS, GRS mainly in the area of NRW, Rheinland-Pfalz

Location: Germany, preferably NRW or Rheinland-Pfalz

Starting date: immediately

Type of employment : full-time, part-time close to full-time, open-ended

Your tasks

You will audit according to the standards of sustainable textile programs and check the compliance with these standards in the enterprises on a national/international level. Within this framework, the following activities are performed:
  • Planning and conducting audits as lead auditor (m/f/d) in compliance with the accreditation requirements and the procedural guideline.
  • Verification of documents and procedures at the client's premises.
  • Recording of compliance and deviations as well as processes.
  • Evaluation of the evidence seen during and after the audits in the form of a report.
  • Submission of the report and all records and evidence to the certification body within the deadline and in correct form.
  • Fostering customer loyalty through high-quality audits and professional demeanor.
  • Communication of program policies and requirements to the client when needed.

Your profile

To perform these activities, the following requirements have to be met:
  • completed university degree in an textile related subject (fashion design, textile technology, textile/fashion marketing) or/and
  • completed professional training in a textile related field (fashion design, textile technology, textile/fashion marketing) with 3 years of work experience
  • German, C 1 level

  • have reliable assessment and decision-making skills,
  • can and want to work independently,
  • have a distinct customer and service orientation,
  • have organizational and communication skills as well as an open and self-confident demeanor
  • are fluent in the English language, both written and spoken
  • successful completion of an ISO 9001 lead auditor course
  • successful participation in a SAI training
  • qualification and experience as auditor for sustainable textile programs (esp. GOTS and GRS)
  • willingness to travel and flexibility
