Control Union has been approved to inspect and certify against the Christmas Tree Program! The specified criteria promote naturally grown christmas trees throughout Europe showing that nature conservation and the cultivation of Christmas trees can work together.
The basic requirement is a valid GlobalG.A.P. or PEFC certification. In addition, the company must meet criteria in the area of biodiversity, environmental protection and resource conservation.
The ecological aspects for a christmas tree are playing an increasingly important role for consumers. With support of this logo, the christmas tree sellers can provide guidance and transparencyto their customers.
