USDA Organic

The EU organic standard serves as the basis for the international organic standards.
The National Organic Program (NOP) is the American organic standard. It was established in 2002 by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). All producers and processors who want to export products to the USA must be certified according to the NOP standard.
