EU-organic certification: business description for non-organic subcontractors effective 01.01.2024

From 01.01.2024, the business description for non-organic subcontractors must be available to the organic inspection body. It must be signed by both the subcontractor and the contracting company. It replaces the current subcontractor agreement. However, each company is allowed to make its own additional contractual arrangements with the subcontractor.
The completeness, topicality and plausibility of the business description are assessed in the annual organic inspection.
